This service is a place for clients and workers to sign contracts for work directly. We only list the work clients post and pass workers' applications to the client, who chooses freely; once chosen, the two sides talk through messages and files on the trade page (section 9). The contract is directly between client and worker. We employ no one and do not dispatch staff. We do not operate worker dispatch or employment placement, and we are not a party to the contract. We provide the platform and hold the payment. No employment relationship arises. If a client employs a worker, we take no part in arranging it and charge no fee.
| Register as somebody else |
| Contract directly with a party we introduced, bypassing us, for work that could be done through this site, for one year after the contract ends. Working for other clients is up to you |
| Bypass our fee by paying outside the platform |
| Enter confidential data into our screens (hand over real data directly, after the contract) |
| Disclose confidential information |
| As a client, direct or supervise the worker in detail, or set their place or hours of work |
| Anything unlawful or against public order |
Listings reflect the information at the time of posting. Final terms are settled with the client. A role may already be filled, or its terms may have changed.
The contractor decides how to do the work. Provided confidentiality is kept, the contractor may hand part of the work to someone else.
Each user represents and warrants that they are not an anti-social force, not a sanctioned person or resident of a sanctioned country, and that the transaction is not gambling, investment solicitation or otherwise against public order.
We confirm the person and the transaction at registration and before payment and release. If we cannot, or the transaction looks suspicious, we may refuse registration and stop the transaction or the release.
We may look at messages between users only as far as needed to handle trouble, prevent fraud or comply with the law. We do not otherwise read them or pass them on.
Once a deal starts, the client and the worker can send messages on the trade page and attach files (images, PDF, text; up to 10 MB each, 5 per send). Only the client and the worker of that deal, and we, can see them. We keep the secrecy of communications and look at them only as described above or to keep users safe. Files are deleted automatically 90 days after the deal ends (completed, declined or cancelled), and message text 1 year after the job ends, unless a dispute is still open. Save any file you want to keep. Share large files such as video by link.
The client is responsible for export-control classification of any technology given to the worker, and for obtaining any licence. Arrangements for passing confidential or personal data to the worker are agreed between the parties (cross-border data agreement template).
With a key we issue, a client’s AI agent can search for contractors and draft requests, invitations, offers and acceptances. Drafts have no effect until the client’s staff post, send or accept them on the site.
If the client turns on “Automatic agent”, “Contract and pay automatically when an urgent task is taken” or “Create contracts with applicants automatically”, the client agrees that, within the limits, fields and price range it sets, posting, sending, forming contracts, acceptance and scheduling payment are done as the client’s own actions. Payment is made only after the cancellation period the client sets, during which the client can cancel it on the site. The written terms (order form) are the same as when staff act. All switches start off.
Urgent tasks are sent at the same time to Active contractors in the matching field, and go to whoever presses “Take” first (the first two, if two are asked). Taking is optional; declining never counts against you. There are no set hours or quotas. The pay is shown in the notice.
The client must keep its keys safe and stop a key at once if it may have leaked. Actions made with a key are treated as the client’s own.
We do not guarantee that a request will reach you, or that a contract with the people we send will be agreed. Where we are at fault, our liability is capped at the fee we received for that project. This cap does not apply to releasing held payments (section 5). It also does not apply in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
These terms may change. When they do, the new text and its date appear on this page. Previous wording is struck through rather than deleted, so the history stays readable.
Japanese law applies; the Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance.
| Date | What changed |
|---|---|
| 2026-10-17 (version 18) | The Japanese version was revised to match common practice on CrowdWorks, Lancers and similar sites (no lending, selling or sharing accounts and no second account; no medical or legal judgments for a person’s own case without a licence; first phone and on-site tasks from a new client are checked before listing; a “Report this job” button; an automatic one-star rating for the side that did not respond when a contract is cancelled automatically; the client handles withholding tax; pay for work already completed is released to suspended members once checked; disclosure requests under the Act on Protection of Consumers Using Digital Platforms, Article 5). The Japanese version prevails. |
| 2026-10-14 (version 14) | The Japanese version was revised (urgent tasks go to whoever accepts first; tasks that cannot be requested; price, review, auto-approval after 24 hours and cancellation for tasks placed from an order sheet; notices to publicly listed work addresses; how changes take effect). The Japanese version prevails. |
| 2026-10-08 (version 13) | Added Article 10-2 (AI agents and automatic transactions). Existing members are not asked to agree again, as all automatic switches start off and need agreement when turned on. |
| 2026-10-06 (version 12) | Payment to the contractor changed from an automatic transfer within 14 days of confirming completion to a withdrawal the contractor requests on My page (requests up to the 15th are paid at the end of the month, and requests up to the end of the month are paid on the 15th of the next month; from ¥1,000). Added that pay not requested within 180 days of confirming completion can no longer be withdrawn |
| 2026-09-24 (version 6) | Section 11 (trial): changed the fee from “a flat JPY 5,000” to “set by the client, at least ¥2,000, no upper limit”, and added that the trial is optional and the client may go straight to a main contract |
| 2026-09-24 (version 5) | Changed “We never publish a list of people” to “Only if you agree, we show your fields, skills and introduction (never your name or contact details) on our talent list” |
| 2026-09-17 (version 2) | Added section 11 (trial tasks) and renumbered the sections after it. The main contract no longer has a trial period; it is replaced by paid trial tasks, so we removed “Trial you can end if it does not fit: 2 weeks” from the key days and “During the first 2 weeks you can end it this way if it does not fit” from section 5. Changed “We only present candidates and scores” in section 1 to sending people we judge fit a request to the client who made it, and added who sees your profile and scores to section 2. Changed “work you raise your hand for will be agreed” in the liability section to a request reaching you and a contract being agreed |
| 2026-09-17 | Put a three-line summary and the key days first. Added how the contract is formed and ending early to section 5, and new sections 7–10. Narrowed “contract directly with a party we introduced” to work that could be done through this site |
| 2026-09-17 | Removed “Have somebody else do the work” from what you must not do; section 6 now allows substitutes |
| 2026-09-17 | Added to “our liability is capped at the fee we received for that project” that the cap does not cover held payments |
| 2026-09-17 | Added section 5 (holding and releasing payment) and renumbered the sections |
