Contracts

The contract is directly between client and worker. We provide the platform and handle payment, and we are not a party to it.

The contract is directly between client and worker. We provide the platform and handle payment.
This is not exclusive. You can keep your other work.
Before the main contract, a paid trial task lets you see real work. If work ends early, work done is paid pro rata.

1Who signs what

PartiesWhat it covers
1Client ↔ workerContract work, agreed between the two of you
—UsThe platform and payment handling. We hold the money and release it after completion is confirmed

We do not operate worker dispatch or employment placement. No employment relationship arises.

2The worker decides how

We hand over what and by when. How, when and where the work is done is the worker's choice. The client sets outcomes, deadlines and requirements, and does not set working hours or location or direct how the work is done.

3Main terms

TypeContract work. We provide the template
The workDeliverables and what counts as done
Pay¥◯ per month for the deliverables. Hours are a guide only. Never set as an hourly rate

Trial task and termMain contracts run from one month. Before the main contract, the client can ask for a paid trial task (the client sets the fee, at least ¥2,000; the trial is optional). It is a separate contract, and the worker may decline it. Rights in the result pass to the client once it is paid. The main contract has no trial period

PaymentHeld by us before work starts. Not released until completion is confirmed

IPTransfers to the client once payment is complete. The worker does not assert moral rights against the client
ConfidentialityKept for three years after the contract ends

SubstitutesThe worker may hand part of the work to someone else, provided confidentiality is kept
CurrencyThe amount is set in yen. If exchange rates move sharply, the two sides may review it from the next month. Our invoice stays in yen
Withholding taxNot applied when the work is performed entirely outside Japan
Going directFor one year after the contract ends, no direct contract with the party we introduced for work that could be done through this site. Working for other clients is up to you
Ending earlyEnds 7 days after notice. No penalty. Work done is paid pro rata; the rest is refunded
Governing lawJapanese law. Disputes not settled by discussion are resolved at the Tokyo District Court

For work lasting a month or more, the client may not refuse delivery, cut the pay, return work, beat down the price, force purchases, make unfair demands or order redos unilaterally. To end work that has lasted six months or more, give 30 days' notice.
