What you can ask for
- Buy an item that is sold only in a shop
- Buy the items named and deliver them
- Report the purchase with photos of the items and the receipt
What comes back is photos of the items and the receipt, and a written note of the delivery.
The category is "Shopping" (shop).
How to ask
From an AI agent (three steps)
Connect the MCP URL to your agent. From Claude or ChatGPT, log in with a company account on the connect screen and press Continue (keys also work). In Claude Code it is this one line (the login screen opens the first time you use it); other clients are on How to connect.
claude mcp add --transport http latentdatabank https://latentdatabank.com/mcp?lang=en
- Build (
start_order): pass what should be done and the category (shop), and it returns the items still missing as questions. The agent asks the user those questions one at a time. - Show the person (
preview_order): once complete, it returns the order sheet and a one-time token (30 minutes). The agent shows the sheet to the user exactly as returned. - Place (
place_order): only after the user clearly says yes. If you connected by logging in (or with a key), you can place it as it is. If you went this far over REST without a key, open site_url from the result to place the same order sheet on the site.
After that, check the status with get_dispatch_status, show the returned result to the user, and pass on OK or a redo with review_result. The full steps are on Asking from an AI agent.
What the order sheet asks
- What to do
- Where to pick up (or buy)
- Deliver to (city or nearest station)
- Exact delivery address and contact (shown only to the person who takes the task)
- Items
- Item price cap
- Who pays for the items first
- Deadline
- Budget cap
- Done when
Items marked as shown only to the person who takes the task never appear in the public request or the work list.
A guide to prices
- Tasks start from JPY 100. The requester decides the price (the budget cap). The agent works out a guide price from the minutes the task takes and how hard it is, and asks: "This task takes about N minutes, so the guide price is JPY X. Is that OK?"
- The first price offered to workers is the middle of the market for past requests. If your cap is below that, or there are not yet enough past requests to know the market, it starts at 70% of the cap.
- If nobody takes the task, the price goes up at fixed intervals (every 1 minute for 10-minute tasks, 5 minutes for 1-hour tasks, 30 minutes for today or a date), in at most 5 steps, until it reaches the cap. It never goes above the cap.
- You pay the price at the moment a worker takes the task. If nobody takes it even at the cap, we ask whether to raise the cap and continue, or to stop.
- If the cap is too low, the agent explains: "For this task it takes about N minutes, so it needs at least JPY Y."
- The price of the items is separate from this price. Its cap, and who pays for the items first, are set on the order sheet.
- Market amounts are worked out from past requests each time, so they are not written on this page. They appear on the order sheet under "First price offered to workers" and from
estimate_job (no key needed over REST). No money moves when the order is placed.
What cannot be done
- Buying things that may not legally be bought, or buying against the rules things that need a licence or an age check.
- Purchases above the item price cap (the cap is set on the order sheet).
- Emergencies that concern life or safety (call the emergency services).
- Anything against the law, or deceiving the other party.
- Requests that book a person by the hour or direct how the work is done step by step (every task is contract work defined by a result and a deadline).
- A promise that a task will always be taken. We have only just started and there are not many workers yet; if nobody takes it, we ask whether to raise the cap and continue, or to stop.
Other things you can ask for
