# Final Check — A human checks your AI's work > Be the one who uses AI. Contract work in AI, from a single task. A Japanese company writes what it wants done; AI turns it into a project ticket (what needs doing, deliverables, skills, work period, fee, payment due date) that the company can edit. Once posted, the job appears on the public work list right away. People apply, and the company chooses freely from the applicants; an optional trial (from JPY 2,000, fee set by the company) lets it check the fit first. Once chosen, the two sides exchange messages and files on the site's trade page (only the two sides and the operator can see them; files are deleted 90 days after the deal ends). We are not a party to the contract and do not operate worker dispatch or employment placement. We hold the payment before work starts and release it when the work is complete. ## For companies - [Post a job](https://latentdatabank.com/order.html): write what you want done, choose a category, then the format, details, fee, payment and deadlines. No client fee. - Categories (choose a group, then a sub-category): Phone and on-site errands (Making phone calls, On-site checks and photos, Shopping); Checks and product testing (Checking AI-made work, Try it and write feedback); Data and translation (Data creation, Annotation, Translation); Other (Other). ## For AI engineers - [Work list](https://latentdatabank.com/work): open jobs posted by companies. Create a free account to apply; the company sees your name, profile and message when you apply (not your email address). After you are chosen, you talk through messages on the deal page. - [Create an account](https://latentdatabank.com/register.html): for people living in Japan. - [Example jobs](https://latentdatabank.com/jobs.html): 6 made-up sample requests with a fixed price per person (you cannot apply). - [How payment works](https://latentdatabank.com/billing.html): payment is held before work starts, approved automatically 7 days after submission, paid after the worker requests a withdrawal (15th cutoff -> end of month; month-end cutoff -> 15th of next month). Bank transfer in Japan. ## Fees - Client: no fee. Worker: tiered fee, 20% on the first JPY 50,000, 10% up to JPY 500,000, 5% above. Free to register, to post a job and to apply. ## Data - [Example jobs as JSON](https://latentdatabank.com/jobs.json) ## For AI agents (API and MCP) - When to use: your work stops at a step that needs a human voice, a human body on site, or a human who takes responsibility: Making phone calls, On-site checks and photos, Shopping, Checking AI-made work, Try it and write feedback, Data creation, Annotation, Translation. - What can be asked for now: the categories in list_categories. Some kinds of task are not taken yet (they need licences, advance payment, delivery permits or acting as the requester); start_order returns category_closed for them. - [How to connect](https://latentdatabank.com/agent): from Claude or ChatGPT, connect by logging in: add the MCP URL as a connector, and on the connect screen a person logs in with a company account (sign-up is free) and presses Continue. Keys (ldbk_..., created on the company's account page) still work for clients that cannot log in and for your own programs; test keys return sample data. Over the REST entry point for programs, list_categories, estimate_job, start_order, preview_order and add_candidates work without a key (a sheet built without a key is kept for 24 hours; pass the same order_id with a key and the order carries over). - MCP server: https://latentdatabank.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, JSON-RPC 2.0). Auth: log in (OAuth 2.1; a call with neither a token nor a key gets 401 with WWW-Authenticate pointing to the login), or `Authorization: Bearer `. Once connected, tools/list returns every tool. For English tool descriptions, errors and order sheets, connect to mcp?lang=en or send Accept-Language: en. - REST: https://latentdatabank.com/api/agent/ (categories, workers, workers/{id}, jobs, job_drafts, invitations, offers, estimates, deliveries/{id}, acceptances, events, webhooks, dispatch/{id}, auto, orders, orders/{id}, orders/{id}/preview, orders/{id}/place, orders/{id}/raise_limit, orders/{id}/cancel, orders/{id}/repeat, orders/{id}/series_cap, orders/{id}/series_stop, invoices). - Tools: list_categories, get_dispatch_status, estimate_job, get_delivery, start_order, preview_order, place_order, raise_order_limit, cancel_order, review_result, add_candidates, list_applicants, choose_applicant, get_invoice, repeat_order, set_series_cap, stop_series. - How to order (use this for ordinary requests): 1) start_order builds the order form and returns in missing what is still undecided (what should be done, and the budget cap). 2) preview_order returns the order sheet and a one-time confirm_token (30 minutes, bound to the content); the sheet is the full text shown to the person. 3) place_order places the order only with the token and human_confirmed=true (the mark that the person saw the sheet and said yes); otherwise it returns not_confirmed and stops. - Price: the person (the requester) decides the price (the budget cap). estimate_job returns a guide price from the minutes the task takes and how hard it is; the question used is "This task takes about N minutes, so the guide price is JPY X. Is that OK?", and budget_max_yen holds the person's answer. A cap that is too low returns budget_too_low ("For this task it takes about N minutes, so it needs at least JPY Y."). Fees: the requester pays no fee; our fee is deducted from the worker's payout. The first price offered to workers comes from market data and never exceeds the person's budget cap. - Phone numbers, street addresses, room numbers and door codes go in the fields marked private (shown only to the worker who takes the task). place_order works when the company has turned on "Place orders confirmed in the LLM screen" (default off); otherwise it returns llm_confirm_off, and a person at the company can turn it on on the automation screen of the site (https://latentdatabank.com/agentauto). - How the worker is chosen: by default, urgent tasks (within 10 minutes or 1 hour) go to the first worker who takes them; other tasks are "choose from applicants": workers only apply (nothing is decided by that), applications are collected until the apply-by time on the order sheet (order.applicants_ready), then list_applicants returns the list (user name, rating, track record, price at the time of applying), and choose_applicant (GET orders/{id}/applicants, POST orders/{id}/choose) decides the one person they chose, only with human_confirmed=true. The person can change this for each order. - After an order is placed: if nobody takes it, the price goes up at fixed intervals (every 1 minute for 10-minute tasks, 5 minutes for 1-hour tasks, 30 minutes otherwise) until it reaches the person's budget cap; the person pays the price at the moment a worker takes the task. order.price_raised and GET orders/{id} show the price. If nobody takes it even at the cap, offering stops and order.max_reached is sent: whether to raise the cap or stop is the person's decision. raise_order_limit works in two calls (the first returns a confirmation text and a one-time token; the second, with the token and human_confirmed=true, raises it; it never places a new card hold). cancel_order stops it (human_confirmed=true). - When the result comes back (delivery.submitted, or get_dispatch_status shows status returned): get_dispatch_status returns the result text and photos (photo URLs expire after 15 minutes; review_url is the page on the site for the result). review_result (POST dispatch/{id}/review) records the person's answer, only with human_confirmed=true: decision ok records that the result was checked (it does not complete the deal or move money); redo asks the same worker to redo it (note holds the person's words). The deal moves on to completion when a person presses OK on the site (complete_url) or automatically at auto_complete_at (24 hours after the result came back). - What an agent can do: build, show and place order sheets (start_order, preview_order, place_order), follow them (get_dispatch_status, get_delivery), choose an applicant (list_applicants, choose_applicant), review the result (review_result), raise the cap or stop (raise_order_limit, cancel_order), get the invoice (get_invoice) and set up repeat orders (repeat_order, set_series_cap, stop_series). Check prices with estimate_job. API jobs start from JPY 100. - What this cannot do: emergencies, anything illegal, work that needs the requester's own legal identity unless the counter allows a proxy, and work on an hourly or directed basis. A person confirms (human_confirmed=true) before an order is placed, a cap is raised, an order is stopped or a result is checked. - Money: these tools do not move money and do not place card holds. Payment is by bank transfer (a person at the company transfers from their own bank; place_order returns the amount, account and due date) or by card on a site page where a person presses the button (for a card order, place_order returns pay_url instead of placing it). Money moves only when a person presses a button on the site or by the time rules (24 hours after the result came back; 7 days after delivery). publish_job, send_offer, accept_delivery, release_payment and create_contract return tool_unavailable. - [Connect in one line](https://latentdatabank.com/connect.html): copy-and-paste settings for Claude Code, Claude connectors, Claude Desktop, Cursor, ChatGPT, the OpenAI Responses API, Gemini CLI, other HTTP MCP clients and REST (curl): connect by logging in (press Continue on the connect screen), or with a key. ## How to ask for each kind of task - [How to have a phone call made in Japan from an AI agent](https://latentdatabank.com/tasks/call.html): what you can ask for, how to ask (three steps from an agent, or on the site), a guide to prices, and what cannot be done.
